Burial of James O. Fannin in Oakwood Cemetery 1862

Please notify me if you locate and post the burial of our dear Great-Grandfather who fought and died there in 1862. He served with Company C of the 21st Mississippi Regiment of the Confederate States Army. His son also served along side his father, but he was able to return home. Thank you and everyone involved in this enormous project.

Sincerely,
L. June Fannin

I found a record for your James O. Fannin. He is definitely buried at Oakwood. The name was written as "Jno. Farmer" but was corrected as James O. Fannin. His unit and all match perfectly. I could not read the burial location but he is there.
