I found a few great sites concerning Old City Cemetery of Lynchburg, Virginia. It is the oldest continuously-operated public cemetery in Virginia. The cemetery is located at 401 Taylor Street and was established in 1806. The cemetery offers a searchable database online at their web site, gravegarden.org. The also have lists of Civil War and slave burials but those are not searchable.
For more information on the cemetery, check out their application for the National Historic Register here: National & State Historic Registers.
