There is a new site that was just launched called "Genealogy Software Reviews." At first glance, I did not think much of it. The site is very plain but it does what it says that it does...review genealogy software. You do not have to register or anything, you just leave a review for various types of genealogy software. This would be a good place to go before you buy anything, to check out what others are saying. The site is in its infancy but I think it has good potential.
